My Freedom Is Gone.
Freedom never truly existed—oppression didn’t disappear, it shapeshifted. We live wondering if we will become a headline, a hashtag, or a memorial poster, while the American Dream is upheld with one hand and dismantled with the other. Freedom is only real when it belongs to everyone, and until then, none of us are truly free.
Another Black Man Dead.
Black and Brown people statistically die at higher rates than any other racial group due to Jim Crow, racism, police brutality, and white supremacy. Black and Brown are systematically conditioned into unsubstantiated stereotypes and denied adequate mental health services, economic opportunity, and access to safe, stable housing. This system was deliberately created to keep us oppressed, undermined, and marginalized.
