Where Legacy Meets Vision: Rodricky's Tywon Williams
A Legacy That Refuses to EnD.
In loving memory Dreke
June 12th, 1985-July 30th, 2006
Rodricky’s Tywon Williams was born on June 12, 1985, in Georgia.
He was style before trend.
Voice before permission.
Community before self.
My father was loud, colorful, and unapologetic. A fashionista, a hustler, an artist, and a motivator. He dressed with intention and lived with purpose. He believed in people—especially those who were overlooked. He moved rooms with his words, his vision, and his belief in possibility. He came from humble beginnings and wore his roots with pride.
On July 30, 2006—one month after his 21st birthday—my father was killed by gun violence. A life taken by carelessness. A death that was preventable. A loss that should never have happened.
Nineteen years later, gun violence remains one of the leading causes of death. This is not coincidence. This is failure. Failure of leadership. Failure of accountability. Failure to value human life.
We are drowning in propaganda, not progress.
Policies without promises.
Protection without performance.
Children are dying. Families are breaking. Communities are traumatized. And those in power continue to do nothing.
This is not a request.
This is a demand.
Action. Accountability. Reform.
Not tomorrow. Not after the next tragedy.
Now.
Studio Tywon was created to ensure my father’s legacy does not end in silence. It exists to honor his style, his spirit, and his belief in self-expression as power. It is a multidisciplinary creative platform rooted in fashion, photography, design, and storytelling—where identity is sacred, culture is respected, and humanity comes first.
We refuse to hide.
We refuse to dim our light.
We refuse to be erased.
Through art and fashion, we reclaim strength.
We claim freedom.
We claim power.
Studio Tywon is not just creation—it is resistance.
It is remembrance.
It is a real stance against violence, silence, and complacency.
We are here.
We are visible.
And we will be heard.
