Feminism in fashion is a powerful movement and message that bridges the gaps of style and social progress. Feminism challenges industry norms and celebrate the role of inclusivity, individuality, and empowerment. The fashion industry often perpetuate the narrow definition of beauty and femininity, but many feminist ideals continue to shape the topography of fashion. It is critical that we understand feminism as not only a movement, but a concept of strength, cultural freedom, and authenticity. Many high end brands and publications have been reshaping their ideals to empower women to fill wonderful in their skin.

Feminist fashion must have some type of cohesion meaning that recognizes that fashion should empower different races, class, sexuality, and ability to have an inclusive fashion line that can cater to a more diverse demographic. Showcasing community and solidarity ensures that all voices are heard and that everyone has a conversation at the table. The fashion industry fosters a sense of belonging by creating a movement that everyone can participate and wear matching outfits and accessories to exemplify a collective identity and purpose.

How we dress is a personal statement on our identity. It gives us a sense of security and agency, while providing us with assertion to our own creative freedom. You would say how is this important to the feminist movement because? It gives women to express their own personality, values and beliefs. It gives womanhood to feel amazing about their body including size, shape and background which helps embrace their uniqueness.

Why is femininty important to fashion? It is important to fashion because it can be a way of expressing the understanding of the world and the things we need to value including equality and freedom. Wearing feminine pieces can be a way to reclaim femininity without limitation that have been imposed by a heterosexual patriarchy society. Feminist fashion can also celebrate diversity, individuality, and freedom, without following societal statues. Femininity can also challenge the manhood and the status quo calling for equality and respect from women.
