Control.

“Control” begins as a wave of color, hyper-expressive posing, and abstraction. The geometric elements guide you toward wielding power rather than releasing it for the public to capture. Each piece reconfigures societal issues, including erasure, racism, colonialism, Black joy, and imagination, to upend false consciousness and foster collective thought through powerful, upheaval art. The collection's hyper-expressiveness comes from placing Black people at the center of the narrative, constantly urging Black people to stop asking for permission to exist in their own space.
